It’s been a while since my last post so I thought I would take a few moments and let ya all know the comings and goings…

After being stationary for what I think was about 2 weeks too long I am again roaming free in the Pacific Northwest….Because of my late start and me losing things I should not lose I only have a small window to travel before the state of WA will be calling me back…..So, I decided to revisit my first Pacific Northwest journey and travel the 101 and the Oregon Coast!! I was super excited to revisit a few places and see some of what I missed the first time around…I’m more of a fan of the Southern Coast so I began in one of my favorite cities, Pacific City, OR….All in all my travels this time around have been wonderful….some rain and cold nights, some great hikes, campsites by the beach and visiting with locals….I am spending Thanksgiving with some of my Xscaper friends in Port Orford before heading to the Redwoods to meetup with an old Colorado friend for my birthday.

I think its best to tell my stories through photos over words but I want to share one story…

While in Newport I had to get some work done on my camper, I didn’t feel like leaving town after the work was done so I went to the RV park at the Port….upon arriving an older gentleman in a golf cart met me ( the camp host Clay) greeted me and said “once you get settled I’ll stop by and take you for a tour”. Being that he was in a golf cart I assumed he was going to show me around the Port and RV Park….where the Rogue Brewery was along with the harbor and other cool stuff….About 30 minutes later I heard a honk and it was Clay in his car to pick me up….Mazzy and I jumped in and he showed me all over town, gave me the tour of the fishing community in Newport, gave me the history on the big historic bridge in town, talked about sunken WWII ships sunk to build harbors and we even did and up close and personal feeding of the seagulls…I learned so much about Newport but also about Clay as well….It was definitely a highlight…thanks Clay…..THIS IS WHY I LOVE TO TRAVEL

** I did a Facebook post after that and called him Sal, Not Clay!!! So sorry….I’m so bad with names : (

enjoy the photos….
